Mother's Day 2012

I am so honored and thankful to be Thomas' mommy!

My flowers from Brandon and Thomas

This Mother's Day, Thomas slept until 10:15 am! We were both tired from our trip to Texas!
We enjoyed spending the day at home playing and catching up on sleep!
I was able to go watch a movie at the movie theater while Brandon stayed at home with Thomas!
It was a perfect Mother's Day!!!

Bluebonnets in Texas

My parents' neighbors had bluebonnets in their front yard so I was able to get some pictures of Thomas with bluebonnets!

Our Weekend (March 31st-April 1st)

We had a GREAT weekend!
Friday evening, we tried a new restaurant Olathe. They had the BEST french fries! They were tossed in truffle oil and seasoned with garlic, parsley, and parmesan cheese. They were amazing! I told Brandon if we eat at the restaurant again, I just want to order french fries. Thomas loved them too!

The Easter Bunny stopped by our house Saturday morning (we were out of town Easter weekend so he came early)!

Then we took Thomas to his very first egg hunt! We have been practicing hunting eggs and placing them in his Easter basket. Our neighborhood had an Easter egg hunt for the children at our park. Children ages 7 years and under were able to hunt eggs. Then they had a scavenger hunt for the older kids.  Brandon helped Thomas hunt Easter eggs. Eventually, Thomas just sat down and picked up the eggs that were close to him. Every time he placed an egg in his basket, he would clap! (Brandon and I would clap every time he placed an egg in his basket while we were practicing hunting Easter eggs at
our house.)

Next, we visited with the Easter Bunny!

Thomas just wanted to walk around the park!

After nap time, we had some Easter Bunny cookies!

Later that night, it was time to cheer for the Kansas Jayhawks!

We spent a lot of time playing outside and taking walks throughout the neighborhood!

Our neighbor's car was wrapped in foil Sunday morning! I had to take a picture.

Thomas' One Year Photos!

One of my favorites!

Another favorite! I just love how he is kicking his legs in this picture!

This was the first time he tried cake, and he didn't like it. I had to put frosting on face!
He had some cake on his birthday, and he liked it better the second time!

I love all of these photos!! Thank you so much Desiree at Double Take Photography!
