What Thomas Likes to Eat

Today I am linking up with Callie from Through Clouded Glass for Eat More Peas, Please.

Thomas is a very picky eater!!!

Things he currently loves to eat are peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, grilled cheese sandwiches, cheese quesadillas, yogurt, cheerios, grapes, apples, applesauce, corn, peas (mixed with corn, diced carrots (mixed with corn), graham crackers, and Nurtigrain bars.

He is finally starting to eat meat. He will only eat chicken nuggets that are shaped like Mickey Mouse. We have tried grilled chicken and homemade chicken nuggets baked in the oven, and he will not eat any of it.  He recently started eating spaghetti with meat sauce. I started buying veggie pasta so he could get one more serving of vegetables. He also ate a grilled cheese sandwich with tiny pieces of chopped brisket inside of it.

He also drinks smoothies that Brandon makes for breakfast. Brandon puts a banana, frozen mixed berries, a handful of fresh spinach, flax seed, honey, and milk in his smoothies.




Thomas will usually eat more at lunch and dinner if we play outside or at our neighborhood park before he eats his meal.

Also, we have been playing with our neighbors' grandchildren every Wednesday afternoon. Their grandchildren are three and five. Our neighbors are so sweet and will feed Thomas whatever they are feeding their grandkids for dinner. We have been eating outside on their picnic table. Thomas will eat whatever their grandkids eat for dinner even if it is something he doesn't like and will not eat at our house. I think Thomas enjoys playing with older kids and wants to do what they are doing.
