9 Months!

Thomas, you celebrated your 9th month day on November 23rd!
We can't believe that you are 9 months old!!!
You bring so much joy to our lives, and we are so thankful to be your parents!!!

You weigh 18 pounds and are 28 3/4 inches long.
You are wearing some 6-9 month, 9 month, and 12 month clothing.
You outgrew some of your clothes over Thanksgiving-I think you put on a little
holiday weight!!!
You have 6 oz of formula every 4 hours during the day and 2-3 meals of baby food.
You take 1 long nap during the day and sleep through the night the majority of the time.

Developmentally: You have your second tooth!!! You have been imitating /b/ and syllables with /b/.
You are pulling up on everything (we can't take our eyes off of you for a second)! You started to clap your hands together right before your 9th month day. You still love music! If you hear the theme song to Reba, NCIS, Law& Order, or Friends, you stop what you are doing & listen to the music.
You have started playing 'games' with us. Brandon or I will hold your favorite blanket and then you will come and grab it. We will pretend to fall asleep holding your blanket, and then you will crawl over to us and pretend to sleep holding your blanket.

Three words to describe your personality this month: playful, determined, fearless.

We are still using a few simple signs with you. We use the sign for milk, more, bath, and dog.
While we were at the airport on our way to Texas for Thanksgiving, you used the sign for dog when you saw a dog. Also, you used the sign for dog again when you saw Momo and Pops' dog in Wheeler.

Favorite things: Your blankets (You have four that you absolutely love!), when your daddy comes home, playing with Max and Molly, climbing on anything you can reach, spending time outside,
remotes, cell phones, you LOVE it when we sing songs to you (Your daddy has made up several songs that you just love. You will stop crying and calm down as soon as we sing one of the songs to you!)

Dislikes: getting your face washed after you eat baby food, getting out of the bathtub, and teething

We learned that teething is not fun this past month!!!

We love you so much sweet boy!!!

Keep the faith,
Lauren
